Been away - but back again!

Hi everybody,

It's been quite some demanding weeks and for those formilliar with the Whiplash Syndrom, that is never a good thing. I switched jobs and had a bit of a rough time getting into the habit of the new workhours, job and at the same time stay centered and balanced to not trigger a whiplash-reaction. However things are starting to look up and I'm getting right back into the saddle blog-wise.

Ofcourse I can't let it slip by, our Dutch National Team played in the World Championship soccer and got all the way up to the finals, but unfortunately we weren't able to bring the cup home, but next time - I'm sure of it - we will bring that golden baby home!

Herewith I want to thank our boys for doing so great in the WC 2010 and ofcourse for bringin us hours of joy and excitement!

I finished reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's Infinity and Elizabeth Amber's Dane (review of Elizabeth Amber will be up on my blog tomorrow and Sherrilyn Kenyon will be later this week).

In the meantime I think I finally am getting back into reading again after my book-depression *yay thank the lord for that!* and I'm re-reading Ms. Kenyon's Night Embrace, reading Kathryne Kennedy's Enchanting the Lady and at the same time am reading Rebecca E. Grant's Liberty Starr on my pc. Though I know as soon as I'm totally hooked on one story I'll finish reading and reviewing that one, before finishing the other. Totally not practical I know, but it's just me ;-) I'll let you all know how I get on.
For now happy readings and enjoy the weekend (or what's left of it).

Hugs and warm wishes

I know I'm really enjoying it, without spoiling for those who haven't read it, I'm at the moment up to the point where Terence and Felicity had their encounter at her introduction party. Eventhough kitty-shapeshifters aren't really my thing Kathryne Kennedy pulled the whole thing off for me! Can I get me a lion-shifter too???

@Marissa we so do need to, it's been ages and with the holidays coming just around the corner. I wanted to head over to your side of the country somewhere beginning this month but wasn't able to make the drive up DANG!

Hello Natascha. Well, at least your boys made the final. Life goes on, and there's always something to smile about.

Natascha

With everything new, I ofcourse, had to get used to the idea of making, owning and maintaining a blog but I have to say, now that I’ve got the hang of it, it’s quite fun to do. Let me introduce myself, I’m Natascha, in my early 30’s and from a little place called Winschoten in the Netherlands, I’ll be your host on this blog.

As an avid reader you’ll find that most of my blogs will maintain reviews, books, topics about books, writing and such, but as I am a diverse person myself, it will include many other topics on things that I find interesting in life. So welcome to my world, and happy blogging!
