Musical Monday....

In Loving Memory...

Today's musical choice is an ode to a Rocker at heart...

In his honor tune up the volumn and listen to this great song!!!!!

LYRICS - Kite by U2
Something is about to give
I can feel it coming
I think I know what it is
I'm not afraid to die
I'm not afraid to live
And when I'm flat on my back
I hope to feel like I did

And hardness, it sets in
You need some protection
The thinner the skin

I want you to know
That you don't need me anymore
I want you to know
You don't need anyone, anything at all

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know which way the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around

I don't wanna see you cry
But I know that this is not goodbye

In summer I can taste the salt in the sea
There's a kite blowing out of control on a breeze
I wonder what's gonna happen to you
You wonder what has happened to me

I'm a man, I'm not a child
I'm a man who sees
In the shadow behind your eyes

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know which way the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
I don't wanna see you cry
But I know that this is not goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye-eye
Goodbye-eye-eye
Goo-oodbye

Did I waste it?
Not so much I couldn't taste it
Life should be fragrant
Roof top to the basement
The last of the rock stars
When hip hop drove the big cars
In the time when new media
Was the big idea
That was the big idea

Communication... Communication...

Did I waste it?
Not so much I couldn't taste it
Life should be fragrant
Roof top to the basement
The last of the opera stars
When hip hop drove the big cars
In the time when new media
Was the big idea
That was the big idea
Talk to eachother

Certain songs will forever let me remember Henry...he indoctrinated me without me even knowing it *smiles*

It is often through music we remember the one's we loved, it touches us even more so when they have passed away.

I never heard this song before untill Henry passed away and it was played in his memory but it will forever be one of those moments I will think of him.

Funny isn't it how emotions get strongly attached to certain things that we in life take for granted, but in the end seems more important than all the material things in the world.

With everything new, I ofcourse, had to get used to the idea of making, owning and maintaining a blog but I have to say, now that I’ve got the hang of it, it’s quite fun to do. Let me introduce myself, I’m Natascha, in my early 30’s and from a little place called Winschoten in the Netherlands, I’ll be your host on this blog.

As an avid reader you’ll find that most of my blogs will maintain reviews, books, topics about books, writing and such, but as I am a diverse person myself, it will include many other topics on things that I find interesting in life. So welcome to my world, and happy blogging!
