The world as I know it.....
AJAX - CHAMPION
Ahhhh the blishfull normalcy has returned to footballers-world in the Netherlands. Last Sunday my team, whom I kept supporting through the good, the bad and the ugly has once more reached the top of the premier league in the Netherlands. AJAX ftw and in a face to face dual they won from their equals throughout the year FC Twente.
3-1 *sigh* how lovely a feeling it was when I heard they finally scored their third goal only 15 minutes till game-time was over. It wouldn't have been enough for Ajax if they would have played a draw and though 2 goals in difference wasn't a sure win 15 minutes before the last whistle was blown, it gave us at least the certainty that one goal for the other team didn't make them champion.
I remember sitting on the couch at my parents place, listening to the game on the radio with my dad and when that final whistle came we both cheered so loud that their deaf neighbours must have heard us.
This is what it was all about:
Isn't it a lovely sight? To me at the moment it still seems like heaven!!!! My team was back on the top spot and not for the first time, oh no, for the 30th time!!!! For a long while it seemed that 29th win was cursed, they were just not allowed to hit 30 but this year, despite all the rumouring and bad press we came back on track and made it to that number 1 spot.
Guys - you're the team!!!!! Congratulations to you all and thank you for your great football, up to next year and ofcourse good luck in the Champions League!!!!! It will serve me and my dad great evenings of watching and following you to hopefulle a repeatance of the 1995 victory! A girl can always dream right?!!!!

AJAX!!!!! YAY, weeeeeeee are the champions my friends....and weeeeeeeee'l keep on fighting till the end. We are the champions, weeeeeeee are the champions....no time for losers cause we are the CHAMPIONS....of the netherlands LOL
I had a fab time in fron of the tv radio, pulls pounding to listen to the radio reporters. I actually thought about paying to watch it but Ziggo's networl got an overload as a 100.000 wanted to login to do the same LOL
lmao, yea it's like dutch footie supporters all of a sudden realized we supported the winning team -lol-
